Day Infusion Unit
The Holmesglen Private Hospital Day Infusion Unit offers patients the convenience of a daily treatment service delivered in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that helps take some of the anxiety and inconvenience away from receiving treatment.
The unit specialises in the care and support of patients receiving infusion therapy, including antineoplastic infusions which are often used for the treatment or management of chronic illness and cancer.
Bathed in natural light, the purpose designed unit offers bright and spacious modern treatment areas that include comfortable reclining electric treatment chairs, access to wireless internet and flat screen TV's.

Please note:
The above services require referral by your GP or specialist. We do not accept adolescents under 16 for iron infusions. Adolescents 16-18 require a parent or guardian present for their stay.
Referral and Admission
The Day Infusion Unit is situated at Holmesglen Private Hospital 490 South Rd Moorabbin.
Referrals to Day Infusion Unit and appointments for patients are available all year around.
With a GP referral, staff will coordinate specialist consultations for all treatments.
As a part of the complete care offered by Holmesglen Private Hospital treatments our services includes; surgery, chemotherapy, radiology and pathology, a wound clinic, cancer support services, onsite gym, physiotherapy in the home and palliative care.
All aspects of the cancer care journey are coordinated by our oncology team.

Day Infusion Unit - 9567 9180
Patients who require a day-stay infusion, blood transfusion or antineoplastic therapy will attend the Day Infusion Unit located on Ground Level of the Hospital.
If an overnight stay is required, patients may be admitted to the hospital's inpatient wards.
Our wards offers bright, well-appointed private patient rooms with ensuites, a quiet area for patients and visitors.
